can someone help me to identify the name of this flower....???
We used to have a few pots of this but now we have only one of this plant left.
All the other pots are now being planted with misai kuching...

Buah Ulat Bulu

One day when I was young, my father brought some some yellowish fruit and told me to give it a try.
It took me awhile. Only after my grandmother cracked one up and slurp the juice that I was willing to try it out.
It didn't taste that bad either!
This one needs more time to ripe.
Since then, I was on the look out each time we go to our kebun.
But it has been years since I last saw or have a taste of it.
Today we went for a kenduri at my father's cousin's house.
I happened to park the car on the clearance in front of the house. As we were getting back into the car to go home, I noticed this fruit. Some of the fruits are already broken from being trampled on so I just pull it off the ground and place them on the dashboard thinking that I will take a few shot of them afterward.
On the way home we made a few stops. First stop was at Pantai Teluk Ketapang and another was at Kampung Tengah at Ibu's cousin's house.
It was at the beach that I lay it down and took a few shot of it...
Maybe it still can be found in abundance in some places but I have not seen it for more than 25 years...
Thought about sharing it witya all  Putik agi...
Enjoy buah letup-letup atau buah ulat bulu ni...
daunnya biasanya ada dalam bubur lambut dan ada lagi kegunaannya...
Digunakan dalam perubatan tradisional untuk merawat penyakit kulit seperti gatal-gatal. juga untuk merawat luka dan batuk.Untuk merawat gatal-gatal kulit, keseluruhan pokok ini diambil dan dibersihkan. Kemudian rebus hingga mendidih dan sejukkan air rebusan hingga suam. Air digunakan gunakan untuk membasuh bahagian yang terlibat.Air rebusan ini juga boleh diminum untuk melegakan batuk.
Untuk luka pula, caranya begitu mudah iaitu dengan melumatkan daunnya dan diletakkan pada bahagian yang luka.

Things we do on the beach
|
|
First we push the truck around
Then we dig the sand and build a sand castle
Next, we chase after the crab and catch them if we can
After that, we look for some sea shells
Our jackpot for the day is finding buah nipah on the beach
Wait till papa sees this!

1st time @Genting
|
|
Camp out @Awana from the 12 - 15 of May for a HIMPUN programme.
It was my 1st time up to Genting... and 1st time on a cable car ride...
I was sick for more than a week after I got home.
Flu & Fever & Cough & runny nose and what's not...
Jr had really wanted to up to Genting Highland resort since middle of last year....
But this time, his papa would not relent... after the last 4 days couped in Shah Alam Concorde with jr.... his papa said ... enough is enough...
Poor Jr has to wait till momma has some free time... which seem highly unlikely by the day....
The one with the open sliding door and the other one next to it is room 2515. The room is bigger since it is a corner lot. All the other room only has one sliding door...
